Being  the daughter of an architect, I was fortunate enough to grow up with an appreciation of aesthetics, both in nature and man made. 

My background as an interior designer has shaped my life and given me an inbuilt sense of composition and use of colour and texture which is almost automatically expressed in my paintings.

This appreciation has proved invaluable in my work, allowing me to quickly and freely express that which I feel from the landscape at an intuitive level, without having to think about what I am doing, resulting in loose abstract paintings.

My process is meditative, becoming a kind of spiritual practice.
